New broker registrants must have completed an approved training program or possess a minimum of three years of verifiable experience that can be validated through a broker database.

At this time, programs operated for profit that train individuals under the designation “loan broker” are not eligible for recognition or approval. The term “loan broker” is not an accepted professional designation within our standards, and training programs promoting or conferring this title will not be considered compliant with our registration requirements.
